Pretty Spring Day...not very warm but...

the promise of warmer spring weather is on the horizon!  I can't wait to whine about how hot it is this summer!

I picked a new necklace and earring set that was a bright pop of color against my gray and black outfit today.  All pieces of jewelry I wore today are new pieces from the spring Initial Outfitters catalog.  The ring is one I've been eyeballing for a while (can't wait to get the matching bracelet).

well...behind as usual...

I'm behind in my posting...imagine that...I will go back and get caught up as best as I can for the last week or so.

Today I got to wear one of the brand new pieces from the new spring catalog from Initial Outfitters.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  Dawn borrowed the bracelets I was wearing...think she wants to keep them! :)

Three sisters....

This is the Three-Sisters pin I received as a gift for Christmas several years ago.  Sometimes it's nice to get to feel close to my sisters even though we don't live close together anymore.

Carla's now the owner of this necklace...those of you in No.Dak be on the look out for it!

Buggy necklace....

Today's necklace choice was a combination of a glass pearl necklace I made a couple of years ago and a dragonfly pendant/pin that was a gift from my friend Olivia when I bought this house.  I love the coil bracelet that matches the necklace but the end of it caught in my sweater several times...that didn't make me happy.

Had a great time tonight at dinner with my good friends...is there any better way to spend an evening than with good friends and good food?  Thanks for a fun time tonight Mary, Amy, Melanie, and Bert!

April Fool's Day...

It was a very uneventful April Fool's Day in my world...thank heavens!

I picked out a pendant from my collection of Initial Outfitters Jewelry today that I've never worn...I was never really sure what to do with it.  I paired it with a long chain and turquoise bead necklace...the blues matched almost exactly.  Several people commented on the pairing...think it's a keeper!
